As per order dated 25.7.2019, the court had granted stay of implementation and execution of the impugned judgment and award of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal on the condition that appellant insurance company deposits the entire awarded amount.
Today, when the application came up for consideration, learned advocate Mr. Vibhuti Nanavati for the applicant stated that the amount as directed has been deposited with the Tribunal concerned. In that view, stay granted on 25.7.2019 stands confirmed on the same terms and conditions. This application is allowed by making rule absolute accordingly.
It is clarified that the claimants will be at liberty to move application for disbursement of the amount to be considered in accordance with law and on its own merits.
