For the reasons recorded in the judgment, pronounced today, following order is passed by the Hon'ble Court.

"Criminal Appeal stands partly allowed. The judgment and order of conviction and sentence dated 22.03.2013 rendered by the learned 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, Dahod in Sessions Case No.57 of 2012 for the offences punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 is hereby altered to one under Section 304 (Part I) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and accordingly, sentence of life imprisonment is reduced to sentence undergone of 9 years. The appellant - PIDIYABHAI NABLABHAI MEDA, having undergone sentence of more than 9 years and his overall jail conduct being good, the appellant shall be immediately released from the prison, if not required in any other case. Record and Proceeding be sent back to the learned trial Court forthwith."
