30.05.2025 Heard Mr. A.K. Purkayastha, learned counsel appears for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. N. Kohli, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Mr. A. Roy, learned counsel and Ms. N. Menon, learned counsel appears for the respondents.

It is submitted that the issue raised in the writ petition regarding the discharge of the petitioners during the probationary period has already been Page No.# 4/4

addressed by the Co-ordinate Bench in a bunch of writ petitions, which were decided by the order dated 22.01.2020.

These writ petitions were dismissed. However, by order dated 22.01.2020, since these petitions were not heard on merit, they were directed to be re- segregated and listed separately for hearing.

Those writ petitions in the meantime came to be dismissed.

Presently, the judgment and order passed by the Co-ordinate Bench rejecting the writ petitions in the enclosed bunch of cases is under appeal, and the matter is being heard by the Division Bench of this Court.

Let the matters be listed in the second week of August 2025, date to be fixed by the Registry.

The learned counsel at the bar are requested to intimate the Court of the next date fixed, if the writ appeal judgment in the meantime is disposed of.
