Learned Senior Counsel Mr. H.R.A. Choudhury is present on behalf of the appellant Pritish Gupta, who is aggrieved by the impugned judgment and sentence dated 15.05.2025 and 19.05.2025, convicting the appellant Sri Pritish Gupta under Section 7 of P.C. Act, 1988 to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 3 Page No.# 2/2

(Three) years and to pay a fine of Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) with default stipulation; under Section 13(2) of the P.C. Act, 1988 to under rigorous imprisonment for 4 (Four) years and to pay a fine of Rs.3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand) with default stipulation.

Heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the respondent State.
