Heard Shri K.A. Mazumdar, learned Counsel for the appellant, who has preferred this appeal under Section 374 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 against the judgment and order dated 03.12.2024 passed in Special Case 23 (N)/2017 by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge No.1 cum Special Judge (POCSO), Nagaon, Assam whereby appellant is sentenced u/s 6 of POCSO Act to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 20 (twenty) years and also sentenced to pay a fine of Rs.10,000/- only i/d to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of one year.

Ms. S.H. Bora, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, Assam accepts notice on behalf of the State respondent no.1.

Let steps be taken for service of notice upon the respondent no. 2 which is to be routed through the Office of the P.P. Assam.
