Heard Mr. J. C. Borah, learned counsel for the petitioner along with Mr. D. Upamanya, learned counsel for the sole respondent.

The learned counsel for the respondent submits that attempts have been made by the respondent for payment of the arrear of pay to the petitioner, however, since the funds are to be received from the Central Government, the respondents have asked the Central Government for the release of the required funds. He submitted that he may be allowed to furnish the documents showing the steps taken by the respondents for payment of the arrear of pay incompliance with the Judgment & Order of this Court dated 03.05.2024 in WP(C) No. 1724/2024.

Accordingly, the matter be listed after 2 (Two) weeks for the respondent to file his show cause reply/compliance report.
