Heard Mr. L.M. Mazumder, learned counsel for the appellant in Crl.A. no. 20/2022 and Mr. D.K. Bagchi, learned Amicus Curiae for the appellant in Crl.A. [J] no. 117/2022. Also heard Ms. B. Bhuyan, learned Senior Counsel and Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent, State of Assam.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the parties that the two criminal appeals have arisen out of a common Judgment and Order dated 25.10.2021.

Mr. Bagchi has submitted that he has not yet received a copy of the paper book whereas Mr. Mazumder and Ms. Bhuyan have submitted that they have received the copies of the paper book.

Office to supply a copy of the paper book to Mr. Bagchi, learned Amicus Curiae for the appellant in Crl.A.[J] no. 117/2022 within a week.
