Heard Mr. S. Islam, learned counsel for the petitioners, who submits that the petitioners were appointed as regular Assistant Teachers in different LP Schools under the DEEO, Lakhimpur, vide orders issued in the year 2001 and they joined their posts in the year 2001. However, the GPF Account Numbers have not been allotted to the petitioners till date. The petitioners being Stipendary Teachers, the case of the petitioners are covered by the judgment passed in WP(C) 6403/2021. The petitioners' counsel thus submits that as the present case is a covered case, a similar order should be passed in this case.
Mr. N.J. Khataniar, learned counsel for the respondent nos.1, 4, 5, 6 & 7, Mr. P. Nayak, learned counsel for the respondent no.2 and Ms. J. Das, learned counsel for the respondent no.3 submit that they will examine the order passed in WP(C) 6403/2021 to ascertain whether the present case is a covered case.
