The matter comes up for orders on I.A.(Civil) No.554/2023 seeking stay of the operation of impugned judgment and decree dated 17.02.2021 passed Page No.# 2/2

by the Principal Judge, Family Court III, Kamrup, Guwahati in Misc.(J) Case No.170/2014 in F.C. (Civil) Case No.859/2014, whereby permanent alimony to the tune of Rs.1 crore was ordered to be paid to the respondent being the erstwhile wife of the appellant herein.

Counsel for the respondent submits that he has no objection to the decree being stayed.

In view of the peculiar facts noted above, we hereby direct that the parties shall remain present in the Court on the next date.

Records of F.C. (Civil) Case No.859/2014 be called for. List on 29.05.2023.
