Date : 13.02.2023 Heard Mr. BP Borah. , learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr.B Sharma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam appearing for the State respondent.

By this petition filed under Section 482 /397/401 of the CrPC, the petitioner has prayed for setting aside and quashing of the judgment and order, dated 10.02.2023 by the learned SDJM, Bokakhat whereby the prayer of the petitioner for zimma of seized 21 Page No.# 2/2

nos. of cattle has been rejected.

It is submitted by the learned Addl.Public Prosecutor that on completion of investigation, the I.O. has submitted Final Report vide F.R. No. 5/2023 in the connection with the case.

In view of the above, the instant criminal petition is hereby closed.

However, learned Court below shall consider the question of release of the seized cattle to the appropriate person.

The criminal petition stands disposed of.
