Heard Mr. I.U. Choudhury, learned counsel for the appellant, who submits Page No.# 2/2

that the impugned judgment dated 18.11.2023 passed by the Court of the Additional Sessions Judge, Bilasipara, Dhubri, in Sessions Case No.97/2014, by which the appellant has been convicted under Section 302 IPC and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life with a fine of Rs.10,000/-, in default to undergo simple imprisonment for 2 (two) months should be set aside.

Admit the appeal.

Call for the LCR.

Ms. S.H. Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice for the State.
