Heard Ms. R.D. Mozumdar, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Appellant and Mr. S.C. Biswas, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent Nos. 1 & 2.

This Court vide an order dated 16.12.2016 passed in I.A.(C) No. 2196/2016 had stayed the impugned judgment dated 05.08.2014 passed by the learned W.C. Commissioner, Workmen's Compensation, Abhayapuri, Bongaigaon in W.C. Case No. 105/2012 subject to deposit of 50% of the awarded amount with the Registry of this Court within a period of 4 (four) weeks from the date of the said order.

The record does not reveal as to whether such deposit has been made. The Registry is directed to update the record as to whether such payment in pursuance to the order dated 16.12.2016 has been made or not.

Let the matter be listed on 06.06.2022.
