Heard Mr. S.K. Talukdar, learned counsel for the appellant. Also heard Mr. M.K. Choudhury, learned senior counsel for the respondent No. 1 as well as Dr. B. Ahmed, learned counsel for the respondent No.3.

This Court has been informed that pursuant to the judgment and order of the learned Single Judge dated 10.02.2022, wherein inter alia a direction was issued to the State to appoint the Chief Executive/Secretary Officer of Rongpur Samabai Samity Ltd., the State Government vide order dated 17.03.2022, has appointed the respondent No.1/writ petitioner as the Secretary of the said Society, a fact which is admitted by the learned counsel for the respondent No.1.

The matter is, therefore, adjourned.

Meanwhile, the respondent No.1/writ petitioner shall continue as the Secretary of Rongpur Samabai Samity Ltd.
