30.06.2022 Heard Ms. R. D. Mazumdar, the learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. M. Khan, the learned counsel for the opposite party Nos. 1 & 2.

This is an application for stay of the judgment and award dated 07.04.2015 passed by the Commissioner Workmen's Compensation, Abhayapuri, Bongaigaon in E.C. Case No.145/2013 whereby the Commissioner Workmen's Compensation, Abhayapuri, Bongaigaon had awarded an amount of Rs.4,93,040/- along with interest @ 9 % per annum from the date of filing of the claim petition till payment of the awarded amount to the opposite party Nos. 1 & 2.

This Court after perusing the materials on record stays the said judgment and order dated 07.04.2015 passed in E.C. Case No.145/2013 subject to deposit of 50% of the awarded amount within a period of 6 (six) weeks from today before the Registry of this Court.

The opposite party Nos. 1 & 2 shall be at liberty to withdraw the said amount by filing appropriate application before the Registry and also by filing Indemnity Bond in that regard.

The I.A. stands disposed of.
