03.06.2022 (Suman Shyam, J) Mr. J. Das, learned Amicus Curiae has appeared on behalf of the

appellant. Ms. S. Jahan, learned Addl. P.P., Assam, has appeared on behalf of

the State.

This appeal is directed against the judgment dated 15.06.2019 passed by Page No.# 2/2

the learned Addl. Sessions Judge No.2, Nagaon in connection with Sessions T(1)

Case No.24(N)/2016 convicting the appellant under Section 302 of the IPC and

sentencing him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life and also to pay fine of

Rs.6,000/- with default stipulation.

Admit the appeal.

Call for the LCR.

Issue notice returnable in six weeks.

Since Ms. S. Jahan, learned Addl. P.P., Assam, has appeared and

accepted notice on behalf of the State, no formal notice is required to be sent
