Heard Mr. S Kakati, learned counsel for the petitioner who submits that the respondent No.1 has been wrongly arrayed as State of Assam represented by the Chief Electoral Officer, Assam and instead it should have been the State of Assam represented by the Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Page No.# 2/2

Assam, Election Department.

Accordingly, the name of the respondent No.1 is hereby corrected as State of Assam represented by the Commissioner & Secretary, to the Government of Assam, Election Department having its office at Dispur, Guwahati 781006, Kamrup (M), Assam.

Registry is directed to make necessary corrections to the cause-title of the writ petition.

Mr. K Gogoi, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate appears on behalf of the respondent Nos.1 and 2.

Issue notice, returnable in 4 (four) weeks. Since all the respondents are represented by Mr. K Gogoi, no notice need be served. However, extra copy of the writ petition be served upon Mr. Gogoi, within 7 (seven) days.

On the returnable date Mr. Gogoi shall obtain instructions and or file an affidavit-in-opposition as to why the judgment and order dated 24.11.2019 passed in WP(C) No.1432/2012 has not been complied with till date.
