By way of this revision petition under Section 397/401 CrPC, petitioner has challenged the judgment and order dated 14.12.2021 passed by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Dhubri in Criminal Appeal No.24 of 2019 affirming the judgment and order of conviction and sentence dated 22.10.2019 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhubri in C.R. Case No.1038/2017 convicting the petitioner under Page No.# 2/2

section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 and sentencing him to undergo R.I. for 1 year and fine of Rs.6,50,000/-, in default, S.I. for 3 months.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the order passed in the connected I.A., the petition is admitted for hearing.

Let Notice be issued to the sole respondent by registered post with A/D and usual process, returnable by 6(six) weeks.

Call for the scanned copies of the LCRs from both the forums.
