Heard Mr. R. Sharma, the learned counsel for the appellant. Mr. M. Khan appears for the claimants.

This is an application for stay of the judgment and award dated 25.04.2022 passed in MAC Case No.120/2018 by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Bongaigaon.

The accompanying appeal having been admitted, this Court deems it proper to further stay the judgment and award dated 25.04.2022 passed in MAC Case No.120/2018 by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Bongaigaon subject to deposit of 50% of the said awarded amount including the accrued interest before the Registry of this Court within 6 (six) weeks from today.

The respondents/claimants shall be entitled to withdraw the said amount by filing appropriate application before the Registry of this Court.

The Registry shall release the amount subject to furnishing of indemnity bond by the claimants.

In view of the above, the I.A. stands disposed of.
