By way of this petition under Section 397/401 read with Section 482 of the CrPC, the petitioner challenges the judgment and order dated 07.04.2021, passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Jorhat in Criminal Appeal No.69/2018, whereby the judgment and order passed by the SDJM (M), Majuli in G.R. Case No.76/2017 was upheld by the appellate Court.

The revision is admitted for hearing.

Issue notice to the respondent No.2, by Regd. Post with A/D as well as by usual process, returnable in four weeks. As the respondent No.1 is a formal party only and already represented by learned State counsel, notice need not be served at this stage but furnish extra copy of the petition.
