Heard Mr. B.D. Konwar, learned Sr. counsel assisted by Mr. R. Saloi, learned counsel

for the appellants. We have also heard Ms. B. Bhuyan, learned Addl. P.P. Assam appearing

for the State.

This appeal against conviction is directed against the judgment and order dated 04-

10-2021 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Nalbari in connection with Sessions Case

No. 62/2012 convicting the appellants under Sections 147/ 447/ 302/ 323 IPC and

sentencing them to inter alia undergo imprisonment for life and to pay fine with default

stipulation.

We have perused the grounds taken in the memo of appeal.

Admit the appeal.

Issue notice returnable in 04 weeks.

Ms. Bhuyan, learned Addl. P.P. Assam has accepted notice on behalf of the State/

respondent No. 1.

Mr. Konwar submits that the informant/ respondent No. 2 in this case had expired

during the trial and hence, no notice is required to be served upon the informant in this

case.

In view of the above, this appeal is deemed to be ready as regards service.
