This criminal appeal has been filed under Section 374(2) of the Cr.PC against the judgment and order, dated 03.09.2021, passed by the learned Page No.# 2/2

Assistant Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong, Diphu, in Sessions Case No. 19/2011(old)/ 77/2017(new) convicting the accused/appellant under Section 376 of the IPC and sentencing him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 7 (seven) years with a fine of Rs. 10,000/- with a default clause.

The appellant is represented by Mr. T Deuri, learned counsel. Also heard Mr. B Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State respondent No. 1.

No formal notice need be served upon the learned Additional Public Prosecutor as he has entered appearance. Extra copies of the appeal memo and the annexures be furnished to him during the course of the day.

Issue notice upon respondent No. 2.
