This is an application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, read with Sections 397/401 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking quashment of the impugned judgment and order dated 22.12.2020 passed in Criminal Revision Petition No.12/2019 by the learned Court of Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong, Diphu.

Heard Mr. L. Mohan, learned counsel for the petitioners.

Mr. N.K. Kalita, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam appears and accepts notice on behalf of Respondent No.1.

Hence, no formal notice need be issued upon the said Respondent No.1.

Issue notice upon Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 under registered post with A/D as well as through the Officer-in-Charge of the jurisdictional police station.

Steps be taken within five days.

List this matter after service of notice on 27.04.2021.

Till then, operation of the impugned judgment and order dated 22.12.2020 passed in Criminal Revision Petition No.12/2019 by the learned Court of Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong, Diphu, shall remain stayed.
