1. Respondent had filed the subject Original Application seeking quashing of a decision dated 28.02.2022 of the petitioner whereby the candidature of the respondent was cancelled.

2. The Original Application was allowed by the Tribunal and the petitioner, UPSC was directed to consider the candidature of the respondent for selection in Civil Services Examination, 2021, ignoring the inadvertent errors of trivial nature i.e., mentioning of wrong date of birth and incorrect name. It was further directed that in case respondent was successful in the Civil Services (Main) Examination, then he would be permitted to appear in the interview/personality test to be held for CSE, 2021.

3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that in deference to the order passed by the Tribunal, since the petitioner had been successful in the Civil Services (Main) Examination, he was permitted to appear in the interview/personality test for CSE, 2021.

4. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that respondent has not been recommended as he has scored less marks than the last recommended candidate in the EWS category.

5. The result has been produced in a sealed cover and perused by the Court.

6. In view of the above, it is noticed that the order of the Tribunal has been duly complied with by the petitioner and since respondent has not been successful, no further orders are called for in the petition.

7. Petition is accordingly disposed of. The result is once again placed in a cover, sealed under the signature of the Court Master and
