       HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE C.HARI SHANKAR
                                      JUDGMENT

D.N. PATEL, CHIEF JUSTICE (ORAL)

1. This so-called Public Interest Litigation has been preferred with the following prayers:-

"(i) Issue Writ in nature of Mandamus or Direction or Order to Respondents to initiate an Enquiry on the whole issue and to take strict actions against the Wrongdoers as per the rules and procedures;

(ii) Issue Writ in nature of Mandamus, Directions or Orders to Respondents to ensure that

such unpleasant and unprecedented incidents do not take place again by anybody whether employees or otherwise, which results in causing serious problems to the common citizen of this city by unlawfully stalling the movement of Delhi Metro Rail on its tracks;

(iii) Pass any other or further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice."

2. Having heard counsel for both parties and looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, it appears that an isolated incident had taken place on 31.05.2018. Learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the investigation with respect to the cross FIRs is complete and charge-sheet has also been filed.

3. In view of these facts, we see no reason to further monitor this case. After filing of the charge-sheet, the matter will proceed as per the Code of Criminal Procedure before the concerned Trial Court.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.

THE CHIEF JUSTICE, J

C.HARI SHANKAR, J FEBRUARY 10, 2020/aa
