Order (Passed on 10th May, 2025)

1. Both the parties entered into compromise.

2. Present appeal is filed by the appellant for grant of Special Leave to

appeal against the impugned judgment of acquittal dated 29.06.2024 passed

by the learned JMFC Janjgir Champa in complaint Case-30 of 2022, whereby

the respondent/accused has been acquitted from the offence punishable under

Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

3. During pendency of the appeal, parties have settled their dispute, and

entered into compromise, and as per their settlement, amount of cheque has Acqa 245 of 2025

already been paid to the complainant/appellant. Therefore, now, the appellant

does not want to prosecute this case any further, for which respondent/accused

has also accepted.

4. In view of compromise/settlement between the parties, present appeal

stands disposed of.
