07/03/2025 Heard Mr. Chitendra Singh, learned counsel for the
appellant and Mr. Shaleen Singh Baghel, learned
Deputy Government Advocate, appearing for the
State/respondent.
Today, though the criminal appeal has been listed
for hearing on I.A. No.02, application for modification of
the order dated 21.11.2024 as the appellant has been
granted bail by this Court vide order dated 21.11.2024,
but he is unable to furnish the sureties, hence, the
learned counsel for the appellant prays that the order
be modified and the appellant be released on personal
bond.
Considering the matter in its entirety, we are of the
view that if the appellant is released on personal bond,
there may be chances of absconsion of the appellant,
hence, with the consent of the learned counsel for the
parties, we proceed to hear the matter finally.
Judgment has been passed separately.
Accordingly, I.A. No.02, application for modification
of the order dated 21.11.2024, stands disposed of.
