N. Gopal @ N. Gopalu vs State Of Chhattisgarh on 28 July, 2025

                                     1/2

HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH AT BILASPUR

                            CRA No. 786 of 2021

       N. GOPAL @ N. GOPALU versus STATE OF CHHATTISGARH

                                Order Sheet

28/07/2025 Mr. H. A. P. S. Bhatia, learned counsel for the appellant.

Mr. Pankaj Singh, P. L. for the State/ respondent.

Heard on I. A. No.2, application for suspension of sentence

under Section 430 of the BNSS, 2023.

By the impugned judgment of conviction and order of

sentence dated 24.02.2021 passed by the learned Sessions Judge,

Durg, District Durg (CG) in Sessions Trial No.15/2019, the

appellant has been convicted for an offence under Section 302 of

IPC and sentence to life imprisonment with default stipulations.

Since the first application for suspension of sentence and

grant of bail was dismissed on merit, we do not see any good

reason to entertain the present application for suspension of

sentence and grant of bail.

Accordingly, I.A.No.02 of 2025 is rejected.

List this case for final hearing before regular bench.
