Heard on I.A. No. 1, application for grant of stay. Mr. Singh submits that arbitrator was appointed by the respondent-Finance Company in contravention with the provisions of Section 12(5) r/w Schedule 7 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Heard.

Taking into consideration the submission made hereinabove, a strong case is made out for grant of stay. Therefore, the effect and operation of the order dated 26.04.2025 passed in MJC Civil Case No. 245 of

2017 by the Second District Judge, Bilaspur shall remain stayed till the next date of hearing.
