Heard on IA No. 01/2021, application for suspension of sentence and

grant of bail.

By the impugned judgment and order of sentence dated 20.07.2016

passed by the Learned Sessions Judge, Raipur in Sessions Case No. 233 of

2015, the appellant has been convicted for the offence under Sections 302 &

201 IPC and sentence to undergo RI for life imprisonment and RI for two years

respectively.

Considering the evidence of last seen together, recovery of the articles

in commission of offence and further material available on record, we are not

inclined to grant suspension of sentence and bail to the appellant.

Accordingly, IA No. 01/2021, application for suspension of sentence and

grant of bail is rejected.

However, considering the fact the appellant is in jail since 01.07.2015,

post the matter for final hearing in the month of July, 2022.
