Learned counsel for respondents submits that after passing of the
impugned judgment of acquittal from the charges under Section 498-A/ 34
of IPC, parties have entered into compromise and the complainant and
Respondent 1 are residing together. Joint notarized application was filed
by both the complainant as well as respondents herein before this Court
on 18.08.2010, hence, appeal may be dismissed on this count only.
Mr. Afroj Khan, learned panel lawyer representing the State
submits that though he sought time on 31.01.2022 for verifying the
contents of application filed by respondents but no instruction is received
till date and prays for further week's time in this regard.
As submitted by learned counsel for appellant, list this case in the
week after next.
