         The Court :- This is an application for execution of a decree dated

May 15, 2023 for a sum of US $ 4,28,500 along with interest mentioned in

the decree. Mr. Jayanta Sengupta, learned Advocate appearing for the

decree holder submits that the decree is equivalent to a sum of

Rs.9,81,84,205/- as on the date of filing of the execution application.

         On the prayer of Mr. Sarosij Dasgupta, learned Advocate appearing

for the judgment debtor nos. 1 to 3, time to file affidavit-in-reply stands

extended till today. The reply filed in Court today is taken on record. Copy

has been served to the applicant in Court today. Mr. Dasgupta has taken

the preliminary point of maintainability of this execution proceeding against

his clients, as his clients are residents of Bangladesh/foreign nationals. He

prays for adjournment and submits that on the next date he shall make his

submissions.

       Accordingly, the matter shall appear under the heading 'Chamber

Application for Final Disposal' on January 6, 2026.
