It has been submitted by Mr. Sudipta Dasgupta, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners, that the West Bengal College Service Commission should give the breakup of marks of the candidates in publishing its result. In support of his submission, Mr. Dasgupta has relied upon a judgment of the Division Bench of this Court passed in MAT 711 of 2021 (The West Bengal College Service Commission & Ors. vs. Binay Krishna Pal & Ors.).
The West Bengal College Service Commission should be given an opportunity to deal with the allegations made in the writ petition.
Let the affidavit-in-opposition be filed by the West Bengal College Service Commission within a period of three weeks, reply thereto, if any, be filed by the petitioners within one week thereafter.
List the writ petition one week after Puja Vacation under the heading "Hearing".
The petitioners shall communicate this order to the West Bengal College Service Commission.
