A report has been submitted which has been prepared by
the Officer-in-Charge of Islampur Police Station, Murshidabad
Police District wherein an undertaking has been given by Prabir
Kumar Roy, Sub-Inspector of Police, Islampur Police Station that he
would comply with the summons issued by the learned Special
Judge under POCSO Act and make himself available on 16th
December, 2023 on the next date so fixed.
As the case is under the provisions of POCSO Act, in case
there is failure of the undertaking given by the said Officer-in-
Charge, who happens to be the Investigating Officer of the case, the
learned special court would issue non-bailable warrant of arrest to
ensure his presence which would be executed by the
Superintendent of Police, Islampur Police District. All efforts be
taken by the parties for concluding the evidence and argument by
28th February, 2024. Learned trial court would take efforts to deliver
the judgment by 31st March, 2024.
Report so submitted be kept with the record.
With the aforesaid observations, CRR 3738 of 2023 is
disposed of.
Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly
downloaded from the official website of this Court.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied
for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite
formalities.
