The petitioner remains unrepresented. Mr. Mayukh Mukherjee, learned Advocate represents the opposite party no. 2/complainant.
The instant revision is directed against the judgment of affirmation dated 31st March, 2021 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track, 2nd Court at Contai, Purba Medinipore in Criminal Appeal No. 7/2019 arising out of CR Case No. 201/2017 whereby the learned Appellate Court dismissed the appeal filed by the present petitioner and confirmed the order of conviction and sentence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act passed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Contai on 20 th August, 2019.
I have perused both the judgments of the Trial Court as well as the Court of appeal. I do not find any scope of interference against the said orders. In view of such circumstances, the instant revision is dismissed on merit.
There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
