Heard Mr. Pratik Kumar Bhattacharyya, learned amicus curiae

appearing for the appellant and Mr. Swapan Banerjee, learned

Counsel appearing for the State.

List this matter on February 1, 2023.

Mr. Banerjee, learned Counsel for the State is directed to

obtain a report from the Officer-in-Charge, Aarambagh Police

Station, District - Hooghly, as to where the appellant is lodged now.

At the same time Mr. Banerjee, learned Counsel is directed to obtain

a report form the Superintendent, Hooghly Correctional Home as to

whether the appellant is lodged there or he has been transferred to

any other jail/correctional home in connection with Sessions Trial

No. 32(8) of 2008 arising out of Aarambagh P.S. Case No. 135/06

dated 04.08.2006 disposed of by learned Additional Sessions Judge,

1st Track, 1st Court, Aarambagh. The report be obtained in the

meantime to enable this Court to record the fact in the judgment.
