                   The appeal is directed against a judgment of acquittal.

                   The appeal was admitted by an order dated June 7, 2022.

             The private respondents were asked to appear before the Trial

Court within a fortnight from receipt of notice of appeal and be

released on bail.

Department will submit a report as to whether the notices

were issued to the private respondents in terms of the order

dated June 7, 2022 or not. State will submit a report as to

whether the private respondents complied with the order dated

June 7, 2022 or not.

In any event, State will inform the private respondents as

to the pendency of the appeal and of the order dated June 7,

2022 as also of this order.

List the appeal on February 21, 2023.
