Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional
application upon the opposite party/State through the Office of the
learned Public Prosecutor, High Court, Calcutta and file affidavit-of-
service on the next date fixed for hearing.
The subject matter of challenge relates to judgment and
order dated 27.07.2023 passed in Criminal Appeal No.25 of 2022.
Records reflect that the petitioner was convicted and
sentence under Section 324 of the Indian Penal Code in connection
with G.R. Case No.3235 of 2015 by the learned Judicial Magistrate,
6th Court, Krishnagar, Nadia.
Having regard to the fact that the revisional application
requires to be heard at length.
The records of both the trial court and the appellate
court be called for by the department.
Matter be listed under the heading "Contested
Application" in the monthly list of December, 2023.
Pending hearing of the revisional application, the
judgment and order dated 27.07.2023 passed in Criminal Appeal
No.25 of 2022 be stayed till 22nd December, 2023.
Petitioner was earlier on bail. Accordingly, he would
continue on the same bail and bond.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly
downloaded from the official website of this Court.
