Mr. Soumyajit Das Mahapatra Mr. Koustav Bagchi Mr. Debayan Ghosh Ms. Priti Kar Ms. Madhurai Sinha ... for the appellant.

It is claimed on behalf of the appellant that the appellant filed

an application for return of articles subsequent to the delivery of the

judgment of acquittal.

According to the appellant, the application for return of articles

was registered and thereafter returned to the learned Advocate.

Learned Advocate for the appellant produces the original

application in Court.

The original application bears the stamp and the seal of the

Court receiving it.

In such circumstances, learned District Judge, North-24

Parganas, is requested to submit a report on such aspect. If the

application was received by the Court, we find no reason as to how

the original application could be returned to the party applicant.

List the matter in the monthly list of May, 2023 when the report

as called for be submitted.

Learned Advocate appearing for the appellant is requested to communicate this order to the learned District Judge. He is also

requested to produce the original application which he produced in

Court today before the learned District Judge.

Learned Trial Court is requested not to destroy the seized

alamat till May 15, 2023 or until further orders whichever is earlier.
