The Court: Heard counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. On the last
occasion, that is on 14th February, 2022, this Court had restrained the five
banks from making any payment out of the said accounts maintained by
Bangladesh Krishi Bank to the extent of Rs.23,41,913/-.
In spite of service upon all the banks, except Sonali Bank Limited, none
has appeared on behalf of any of the banks nor the Bangladesh Krishi Bank
which is the judgment-debtor in this case.
In light of the same, I am of the view that the banks should now be
restrained from making payment out of the said accounts maintained by
Bangladesh Krishi Bank to the extent of Rs.91,51,467.18 (the decretal
amount). This injunction shall continue till June 30, 2022 or until further
order whichever is earlier.
Time to file affidavit by the banks is extended by a period of four weeks
from date. The affidavit of assets to be filed by the judgment-debtor is also
extended by a period of four weeks from date.
Matter is made returnable four weeks hence.
