The present revisional application has been preferred
challenging the judgment and order dated 28.02.2022
passed by 2nd Fast Track Court, City Sessions Court,
Calcutta in Criminal Revision No. 216 of 2019.
I find that the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 13th
Court, Calcutta was pleased to convict the petitioner in
connection with Complaint Case No. 944 of 2005 under
Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
In view of the petitioner having suffered conviction
and sentence by the learned trial court and the revisional
court, I direct that the petitioner should deposit a sum of
Rs.95,000/- (rupees ninety-five thousand) with the learned
Metropolitan Magistrate, 13th Court, Calcutta by 04.07.2022.
An affidavit along with photostat copy of the receipt be
submitted before this Court on the next date fixed for
hearing.
List this revisional application under the heading "To
Be Mentioned" on 08.07.2022 when further order would be
passed.
In the meantime, warrant of arrest so issued be stayed
till 11.07.2022.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order
duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
