Two appeals are against the same judgment and

conviction and sentence.

Learned advocate for the appellant in CRA 255 of 2008 is

represented. We heard the learned advocate for such appellant

on the previous day.

Two appellants in CRA 346 of 2008 are not being

represented.

In such circumstances, it would be appropriate to appoint

Mr. Krishan Ray, Advocate as 'amicus curiae' for the appellants

in CRA 346 of 2008.

The Member Secretary, State Legal Services Authority,

Kolkata is requested to regularise the appointment of Mr.

Krishan Ray.
