The petitioners pray for orders in terms of a

judgment passed by a learned Single Judge on 4th April,

1996. Learned counsel also relies on an order passed

by a Coordinate Bench on 19th January, 2016.

The prayer is in relation to the petitioners being

treated as teachers by the concerned University and

being given a compatible pay band. The petitioners

retired in the year 2004 and 2005 respectively.

Since adjournment is prayed for on behalf of the

University, list this matter on 3rd May, 2022. Learned

counsel for the petitioner is given leave to produce typed

copies of the relevant pages of the writ petition.
