The contempt petition arises out of a judgment

and order dated 28th September, 2007 passed in C. O.

22 of 2007 (E. K. Mohammed Ali vs. Port Blair

Municipal Council and Ors.). The cause papers

pertaining to C.O. 22 of 2007 tagged with this

contempt application appears to be a matter filed in

the Principal Bench of this Court and not of the

Circuit Bench at Port Blair. C.O. 22 of 2007 tagged

with this contempt petition has been filed by Sri

Sambhu Pal against the Station Superintendent,

Ranaghat, West Bengal State Electricity Board and

another. This civil revisional application was

disposed of by an order dated 4th April, 2012. It is,

therefor, apparent that the file which has been tagged

with the contempt petition is not the main file

wherein the order-in-question, being the subject

matter of the contempt petition emanates.

Let the matter go out of list for the present.

Registry is directed to take appropriate steps to

locate the correct records and thereafter place the

contempt petition along with the main file before the

appropriate Bench.
