1. All the above matters have been kept on board today for
directions. We now place those matters for hearing and final disposal on
6th March, 2024 at 2.30 pm.
2. We make it clear to the Petitioners that no adjournment
will be granted and they will have to proceed in these matters on a day
to day basis.
3. We further direct that in the interregnum, applications for
conversion of their land from occupancy class-II to occupancy class-I
made by any of the Petitioners may be processed by the Government but
no demand shall be raised till the judgment is pronounced in the above
Writ Petitions.
4. We make it clear that this interim order will enure only to
the benefit of the Petitioners before us who have applied for conversion
of their land before 7th March, 2024. No other party will be entitled to
the benefit granted under this order.
