4. This is an application for condonation of 174 days delay in filing the appeal against the judgment and order dated 15th December, 2023. The learned Judge, on conviction, has sentenced the accused to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 20 years for the offences punishable under Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and under Section 376(2)(i) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

5. The reasons have been stated in the application. Considering the facts and circumstances, the delay deserves to be condoned. Accordingly, it is condoned.
