2. The informant lady is present before us. She has been identified by her Advocate Mr. Anil Dhawas. She has also filed written submission/reply stating that the matter is settled amicably and she do not want to prosecute the criminal case. It is stated that she has filed FIR under misunderstanding, anger and therefore, it may be quashed. She has also filed a notarized affidavit in support of her stand that she has no objection to quash the FIR. We have verified reply and contents of the affidavit from the

informant lady to whom she agreed and requested to quash the FIR.

3. At the instance, the report lodged by the informant dated 04.11.2019, crime was registered for the offence punishable under Sections 376, 417 and 507 of the Indian Penal Code. The applicant is principally facing a prosecution for the offence of rape.

4. Having regard to said fact, learned counsel for the applicant submits that besides settlement on merits also he has a good case. He seeks time to cite some judgments.
