1. This is an application seeking condonation of delay of 1 year and

162 days in preferring an appeal against the judgment and award dated 6

August 2018 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Mumbai in

MACP No. 1150 of 2013.

2. Mr. Nangare, learned Counsel for the Applicant/ Appellant -

Corporation draws the attention of this Court to paragraphs no. 2 to 8 of

the application in support of his contention to condone the delay. The

Respondents though served are not represented.

3. Having heard the learned Counsel and having perused the

application, this Court is satisfied that the case for sufficient cause has

been made out and therefore, the delay be condoned.

4. Let the delay of 1 year and 162 days in preferring the appeal be

condoned. Let the appeal be registered.

First Appeal (St.) No 26149 of 2019

5. List the First Appeal for admission on 13 July 2023, subject to

removal of all office objections.
