We have heard both the sides.

2. Irrespective of the earlier happenings, the Education Officer, Zilla Parishad, Aurangabad by his communication dated 30.01.2023 has now recommended the proposal for correction in the surname of the petitioner to the SSC Board, by referring to the Full Bench judgment of this court in the matter of Janabai vs. State of Maharashtra and has even concluded that it was an obvious mistake.

3. We dispose of the petition by directing the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to consider the recommendation submitted by the Education Officer and pass appropriate order within a period of four weeks.
