Considering the short issue involved the writ petition is heard by

issuing RULE and making the same returnable forthwith. Learned

Assistant Government Pleader Mrs. K.R. Deshpande waives notice of

hearing for the respondent.

WP 3905-22 2 Judgment

2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the Collector on

28.06.2021 refusing to grant premises license and performance license in

terms of the application dated 27.02.2020. Against that order, appeal has

been preferred before the State Government under Section 33 of the

Maharashtra Police Act, 1951. The petitioner seeks expeditious

consideration of that appeal.

3. In these facts, the respondent is directed to decide the said appeal

within a period of three months from the petitioner's appearance before

the respondent. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent on

01.08.2022.

4. Rule is disposed of in aforesaid terms with no order as to costs.
