Heard Mr.Dande, learned counsel for the petitioner; Ms.Ashwini Purav, learned AGP for the respondent-State; and Ms.Masurkar, learned counsel for Respondent No.2-Union of India.

2. We have perused our orders dated 9th September, 2021, 13th September, 2021 and 15th September, 2021.

3. Today when the matter is called upon, learned AGP has placed before us a letter dated 23rd September, 2021 issued by the Dean of B.J.Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, Pune addressed to the Registrar General of this court stating that process for medical termination of pregnancy of the petitioner was started at 3.00 p.m. on 20 th September, 2021. The procedure was completed on 22nd September, 2021.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been discharged from the hospital.

5. Though in our order dated 15 th September, 2021 we had indicated that we may like to pass a detailed judgment, having regard to the turn of events, rendering of a detailed judgment may not be necessary.

6. Writ petition is disposed of.
